I’m on a trial license for Mairlist 8 (6005), and came across this issue.
When opening a song’s properties in the database it’s not showing the waveform in the cue editor.
When opening the properties from within the playlist it does show the waveform
In addition when opening the cue editor in the database and pressing play the song plays and the waveform loads when clicking reload waveform.
I am using ver 8.0 build 6008 and I have noticed the next issue.
When a song is imported in the database and only has the standard marks wich are added while importing, the waveform isn’t shown. When adding one of the other cue marks manually and save it, the wave form is visible the next time you open the song. Here 2 screenshots of the issue:

I have opened the files in the stand alone database app, not in the database app wich was opened by mAirlist itself.
Maybe same issue as this one?
Please check if there is a duration displayed on the General tab.
Duration is indeed not shown on the general tab for that files. once you added a cuemark manually and save the database item, the duration is shown in the general tab aswell. once that is done, the waveform is visible.
So it seems like the same issue indeed.
Ok, so it was caused by this faulty Beta build that cleared all import options from the sync function, causing items with an unknown duration to be registered in the database.
You can fix that through Mass Edit.
