Hi,
I own a MOTU 128 sound card with 8 outputs channel (4 stereo). When I configure audio devices, I can choose “DirectSound”, “WASAPI” ou “ASIO”.
I wanted to use “ASIO”. Wrong : I hear crunches into playbacked sounds. I raised buffer size, but not better.
I tried “WASAPI”. Wrong : Only the 2 first channel (stereo) are working. All the other ones (3-4 / 5-6 / 7-8) don’t playback sounds…
“DirectSound” : I prefer not to work with this one…
I’m using Mairlist 4.1 Personal Studio, with Windows 7 Professional, 32 bits. 3 Go RAM. My MOTU soundcard is wired with firewire connection.
I’m able to accept not to work with ASIO. But, I would like not to use DirectSound. So, why WASAPI seems not to work. Have you any idea ?
