First of all I’d like to say EXCELLENT piece of software!
Why is it when you record a voicetrack the first track (music) is also played?
The sound of this track is recorded onto the VT file, which makes it almost impossible to move the VT between the two songs.
I can slide down the volume, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do about this?
Well, it is played so that you can adjust your talking to the end of the song.
But it should not be recorded at all. If it is, your audio setting are incorrect.
Make sure to choose a sound card input for Mic Input that only includes the microphone signal, not the Player A and B signal.
If you’re using a mixing console, you will probably have to set up a separate AUX bus for that purpose, and only route the microphone channel to that bus.
hmmm… that is a bit of a problem right now.
The only option is to play thru PFL on my mixer. So I hear the music but not myself talking. While in the meantime my voice is recorded.
