I have been experimenting with these settings (which can be used in Playlist sections in skin.ini) and they divide neatly into three categories:
- Seem to serve no useful purpose. (Let me know if I’m wrong about any of these!)
- Will serve no useful purpose if Torben removes the Border attributes (see my separate post http://forum.mairlist.de/viewtopic.php?t=1772 for more details).
- Useful settings.
Here are the three lists.
Seemingly redundant settings
BorderColor (<== don’t be fooled by the name!)
HeaderHotColor (Playlists don’t use ‘hot tracking’)
HotColor (ditto)
SelectionRectangleBlendColor (Playlists don’t use selection rectangles)

Useable settings
DropMarkColor
Colour of the indicator ‘line’ which shows where dragged items will ‘land’ if dropped.
DropTargetColor
Background colour of selected row(s) when the mouse pointer hovers over them during a drag/drop operation.
FocusedSelectionColor
Background colour of selected row(s) when the Playlist is the ‘active’ control (‘has the focus’).
GridLineColor
Colour of the horizontal line which separates items in the Playlist.
UnfocusedSelectionColor
Background colour of selected row(s) when the Playlist is not the ‘active’ control (does not ‘have the focus’).
I have not (yet) updated the Wiki with this info. and would welcome any comments and especially any corrections.
