Hello,
Does anyone know if there are any basic tutorials in English?
I can only seem to find German ones on YouTube.
My radio station has just started using mAirList and I’m finding it a little confusing and complicated having come from ZaraStudio.
Thank you so much.
Hi and welcome to the mAirlist family.
I planned to do a video series in german and english, but did not find the time to really do it. I did exactly one recording in german for 30minutes in a single show and screwed it up in the last sentence.
Did you see the Wiki? It brings some good basics, with pictures.

Also there is an old manual as PDF, most of it still matches with the newer Versions of mAirlist.

The english one is even better than the original german one. Cad spent tons of time on it.
The biggest advantage of mAirlist is it’s flexibility. You can adapt it to your workflow instead of adapting your workflow to the software.
So if you search somthing specific, just let us know how you did that with Zara and we can help you to adapt mAirlist to do it the same way/ a similar way/ or something even better.
Cheers
Malte
Hi Malte,
Thanks so much for getting back to me.
How do I go about or what’s the best form of contact in finding out transferring my workflow from Zara into mAirList?
Or, get some pointers or advice on something that can be done in a similar way?
Cheers,
Steven
Hi Steven,
the answer is the same as on my previous post. Have a look at the documents I linked there, that should give you a good point to start from.
mAirlist can do a lot so it is a bit of a learning curve.
On the other hand, after fresh installation without doing anything, just drag some audio files from your Windows explorer and you are ready to play some music. As simple as Winamp in the 90s.
To help you we need much more precise information of what your setup looks like, what you have done and what does not work. Even for Zara there are different ways of using it.
If I advise you to hook up your multi channel soundcard to your mixer that should be connected to your transmitter from previous use already… Well it is a good advise but probably not what you want to achieve or maybe it is, I have no clue.
Regards
Malte
