Stereotool & Encoder

Everyone,
I’m using 5 streams from mAirlist with Stereotool.
Stereotool loads once under the “Sound Processing” heading. Now I need a stream without processing for a new encoder. Is there a way to leave the configuration intact and disable processing on the “new” stream?

I’ve tested installing Stereotool on each stream separately, but that doesn’t work and crashes mAirlist.
I’m using mAirlist 6, the latest version, Professional.

Regards,
Ron

How did you install it? I‘m running 7 streams parallel with installed StereoTool-DSP seamlessly within 7 instances…

Hi Stefan,

I took some screenshots. Since I’ve set the Stereo Tool separately for each stream, I get the “the application seems to be frozen” error. mAirList continues to run, however. It’s becoming considerably slower, the processor is also being taxed much more, and the Stereo Tool icon appears five times in the taskbar. The screenshots are with the “normal Stereo Tool” setting. The DSP version behaves the same.

Ah okay, sorry, I was on the wrong path…

You are sending out ONE Playlist to different encoders at the same time, using the master soundprocessing tab and want to bypass the StereoTool for one of the encoders, right?

Did you try to use the DSP-Plugin or StereoTool Generic Plugins from different folders (named i.e. “Stream 1” to “Stream 5”) to get the ST to work without freezing mAirList?

I don’t see another option than to use the soundprocessing tab in separate encoders itself, sorry…

Hi Stefan,

Thats correct

I’ve tried different configuration ,with DSP-Plugin in different folders.
The generic plugin works only in the plugin folder.

I will keep on testing

Thanks

Ron
