I have set the encoder to stream with Stereo Tool to process the sound. Works great and sounds good. My questions is if i can also get the “On Air” processed sound through my speakers so i can monitor the sound? Is it possible to rout the sound to work like this? I use a Arrakis ARC-8 mixer with buildt in usb sound card if that helps any.

Yes there is a low latency monitor, so you can route it back.

Why not just set the encoder playback device to something different than “no audio”? (Config -> Audio Devices).
If you have stereotool in the highest quality you have a delay of 4 sec. When you use the low latency output it’s 0.28 sec.
Ok, I see. But I assume it’s not the exact same signal then.
If i set the encode playback output i get an echo of the processed sound and the unprocessed sound together.
I guess not couldn’t find it so quickly on the stereotool forum, but on the first test with mairlist 6 I saw its the same as the stand alone version. I never used a low latency monitor because I did it like you said and for the headphone signal I used a hardware compression. But for mairlist 6 I am going to figure out the low latency for the headphone.
