I want to start with scripts, I can’t find any easy example on how to get it to work.
Is there a basic tutorial somewhere ?

What are you going to accomplish?
We wish to accomplish, a script found here on the site that writes the name of a current song in a file. Another program we use for streaming (Butt) will read the file and use the song name in the stream.
You do not need a script for that, just go to config app -> Logging, add a new log file, and check the “always overwrite” option.
