Sound Device Error after System Change w/ backup

We replaced our last Win10 server and moved MairList to new hardware, restoring the settings from a current backup. Configured this setup with the new Dante adapter, but there are still errors upon startup (listing below). How to get rid of them? All relevant audio adapters are looking fine in the MairList setup.

this is really weird. I removed all config folders and ran a reinstall, without using my backup. Still MairList seems to pull wrong audio interface data from somewhere. Shouldn’t it just recognize the audio adapter as is upon a new install?

That looks to me as if you did not delete the devices.ini but anything else.

You should be able to import the full config, the only thing you need to delete is the “devices.ini” (if I remember correctly). Because obviously after changing the computer the WASAPI UUIDs are different. So it is kind of an expected behavior.

c:\ProgramData\mairlist\7There should be a devices.ini somewhere.

Sometimes it was possible to just open the mAirlist configuration and set everything and overwriting the old and now wrong config. However I had best results by deleting the devices.ini before doing so.

You also should double check any remote controls, if you have any, except hotkeys.

MIDI is a special topic in it self with Februray Updates on Win11. Microsoft screwed up again, with that.
