I remember to have read, a while ago, that it is possible to adjust the internal clock in mAirList. Maybe it was in German forum.
Goal is to start News at xx:59:00 while real time is 1 minute later. Possible?
@Torben: Men, how I love this software! ;D
If memory serves me right, just double click the clock (or one of the clocks, maybe in the status bar). I’m on my laptop right now.
Yes you can adjust the internal time as Streamer says double click the clock in the bottom right hand corner.
Why not set up an event at xx:59:00 to start your news.
E.G. we have a news jingle which starts at xx:59:40, our event is to “insert and play database playlist” but the trick is to set its option to “load the playlist for the next hour (instead of the current hour)”
So at the set time, the next hours playlist is loaded, the first item being the news jingle plays: the second item is 2 minutes of silence with ID3 tags to that effect - as this plays we have an event which un-mutes an input to our sound card to allow the news to go out (from satellite) - at the end another event mutes the sound card. The playlist then continues.
