Saving commercials assigments give an empty file

Hello.

I noticed that right clicking in the commercial grid to save the grid you just created doesn’t work any more. You get the menu proposing to save or to recall assignments, but nothing is saved. It just gives a blank xml file.
I encountered this problem on 2 instances of mAirList for 2 different radios (one radio using Win7 and mAirList 6.3.8 build 4398, the other radio Win10 and mAirList 6.3.1 build 4433), on the main PCs and on the production PCs.
I was sure it worked in a previous version (can’t remember which one, but that certainly was pre-covid !).
If you have any tips that can help…

I’m still trying to work it out.

Here is a excerpt from an assignment file I created back in 2019 :
[?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“UTF-8”?><Entries]
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“7” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“8” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“9” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“10” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“11” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“12” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“13” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“14” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“15” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“16” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“17” Block=“2”/>
[Entry Weekday=“1” Hour=“18” Block=“2”/>
and so on for the other days. (every “<” character at the beginning of each line have been replaced by “[” otherwise nothing appeared in my post)

Now, when I try to save an assignment file, using the same way, here what I get

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

and the rest of the file is empty.

I tried to use the 2019 file on a campaign, but nothing appeared in the grid.
So I’d like to know what should be listed in this xml file. Maybe I could write my own assignments and that would be OK.

Could anybody just tell me the syntax of a working line, just to try if it works.

This is not really an issue for now, but it could be by the end of February, because I will put my new system on air.

Help, I need somebody, help… (you know the rest…)

Thanks

Philippe

Fixed in snapshot 4468, thank you.

PS: You can easily embed XML into your posts when you use a “Code” environment in the editor (four backticks, or click the button in the toolbar).

Hi Torben.

Thanks for the tip about code. Might be quite useful in the future.
I will upgrade and text very soon.

Philippe

Just an update : saving the file is now OK, but it still doesn’t work when I try to load the saved file.
