Gerne. Als Service des Hauses habe ich die entsprechende Stelle als Code formatiert, das ist etwas angenehmer.

Du wirst deine Gründe dafür haben, aber aus guter alter Schule™ kenne ich die Reihenfolge der Fader auf einem Mischpult, von links nach rechts, wie folgt:

Hintergrund:
Ich habe gerade Kontakt zu einem Kunden, dem so ein Rodecaster hingestellt wurde und der damit jetzt erst mal arbeiten muss, bis er ein richtiges Broadcast-Pult bekommt.
Als “Integrator” steht derzeit nur ein IT’ler ohne Radio-Background zur Verfügung.
Hi, could you explain in english how to use this ini file, where to add it that rodecaster could work with mairlist. Our small internet radio channel has 4 rodecasters, but we use virtual dj now for playing music - mairlist would be much more better choice for those remote studios as well.

Das umzuschreiben ist nicht so schwierig. Problem: Ich hatte den Roadcaster nur zum Testen. Kann die Änderungen also nicht überprüfen.

1: Rodecaster ist a Podcast Producing Tool and not made for broadcastig. So instead spending Money for some expensive Rodecasters you should think about something like D&M Webstation that works fine with mAirList.
2: Roadcaster works remotely with mAirList but I don’t know how save this connection is. I just tried it for experimental reasons but did not work over hours or under professional conditions with the setting. If you do not have good knowledge about mAirList and it’s remote operations and MIDI it will not be so easy to make rodecaster work with mAirlist.
3. If you have mAirList installed on your system and want to work remotely with Roadcaster contact me again and I will try to help.

Hi, Ok. I have Airlite and mairlist but just for reference because we still have quite many rodecasters in our storage
If you think about the D&R Webstation, the smaller brother of the Airlite, the price is around 1 Webstation ≈ 2 Rodecaster.
Virtual DJ is a program for DJs (with an encoder, sure, but I would pefer it for DJ sessions), mAirList is a radio automation.
It’s the same with the Rodecaster: You can use it with mAirlist, but it’s a (not recommended) compromise far away from webcast.
I agree.
Since I use mAirList (I have been a private customer for many years before I joined the company), I worked without and with dfferent types of mixers and audio interfaces.
From my personal experience and the feedback from many other users who have evolved themselves and their experiences with hardware since many years, my conclusion is: Don’t work like “it could be better but I can live with that” as a bad compromise. On the long run it’s not satisfying and producing (live) radio shows should make fun.

Auf Dauer schadet es dem Spaß am Hobby.
Funktioniert das auch noch für eine Version 4.4? Hab auch noch so ein Rodecaster, zum mal testen.

Ich habe mir den Nachfolger des Rodecaster Pro geholt den Rodecaster Pro 2 und im Video wurde ja Player 1 und 2 über den Fader kontrolliert sodass die Lautstärke des Tracks in mairlist verändert hat, aber ich habe es nicht eingestellt bekommen dass der fader 1 auf dem Rdecaster pro 2 synchron mir dem digital Fader von mairlist funktioniert sodass ich die Lautstärke des Player 1 nicht kontrollieren kann.
Das gleiche Problem habe ich auch bei Player 2
Hallo Clemens, wie meine Steuerung mir dem Rodecaster Pro 2 funktioniert, weiß ich nicht. Ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, dass sie sich groß unterscheidet. Wir benutzen meine Rodecaster-MIDI-Steuerung inzwischen für unser Schulradio und sie funktioniert zuverlässig.
Ich habe an der MIDI-Steuerung etwas geändert: Die Fader 1 und 2 beim Rodecaster steuern die Mikrofone. Die Fader 3 und 4 steuern die Player A und B bei mAirList. Außerdem nutzen wir die bunten Buttons am Rodecaster nicht mehr zum Start der Carts, sondern belegen die Buttons direkt mit den gewünschten Elementen.
Für die Arbeit mit den Schüler:innen habe ich eine kurze Installationsanleitung geschrieben. Sie liegt hier zum Download. Dort findest Du auch die dazu passende MIDI-Datei. Viel Erfolg. Rolf
