Remote control functions with Airlite and Mairlist

Hi,

I use the remote controls from the D&R Airlite and I have it configured to start/stop the cartwalls. However, I also want to use the Airlite switches to control VT and Automation on/off. I assign the function to a specific key, but than than the switch command takes over the cart wall command. For example, the same key should cartwall 1a and starts automation. I need to push it twice, first for the automation than to fire the cart.

Is there a way to tell the system to distinguish between switch commands and cartwall start/stop and what is the way to do that?

Sorry, I don’t quite understand - you want to use the same key for two different functions? That won’t work.

Not really. I have a cart-wall page that has 2x9 rows. I use the D&R remote function to start and stop each cart player. That works fine. However I also use the remote switches in the settings function and assign VT start, VT Stop and VT close and automation on and off. If I have a cart-wall page open, the switch function takes priority, so the VT opens instead of cart starting.

Does this mean that the remote keys I use for VT on/off/save and automation on/off cannot be assigned to any cartwall?

When you use the buttons for the cartwall, you cannot use them for any other function.

More precisely, you can still assign a command to it manually on a “Switches” tab - but that command will be executed as well as the CARTWALL x CLICK command then. There is no priority whatsoever.

Thanks. That is what I was looking for! So it is not possible to distinguish between a command, even with a script?

How could you distinguish between the commands anyway?
