I created a file structure in the explorer and when I right-clicked on a file in the explorer I got the message: Range check error
I have had this problem since today.
In the config the setting for the explorer was set to read-only.
I unchecked this but then I get this message.
I have not had any problems with this before.
I have a bug report list but how do I add it? It is a txt file and I cannot upload it
Reproduce the error, then in the error dialog, click “Details”. A new window will open with a detailed report. Click “send bug report”, enter your name and e-mail, and send it. It will be delivered straight into the mailbox of the developer
Thanks, I received the report. I can’t quite tell why this is happening though. Especially because this entire Explorer-style browser is provided by a 3rd party component, not written by myself. I have to dig through their code first.
The component is not a “true” Windows Explorer window, but it tries to mimic the Explorer by recreating the design and the menu items and all that, so that it looks the same. I assume the problem is somewhere in the stage where it gathers the entries that should appear in the popup menu.
Have you installed any applications lately that add items to the context menu in the (real) Windows Explorer?
No I haven’t installed anything regarding windows explorer.
The strange thing is that from one moment to the next this problem is there.
First it indicated that explorer is read only.
I changed that in the configuration.
And then came the range check error.
