Hi all
I am looking at V5 as I need to use the aircheck recorder facility and am trying to get my head around the new cartwall.
It could be that I am just not getting the point but the following questions crop up in my mind:
- What is the point of the design button? I can understand that you may want to have different size buttons if you are using a touchscreen but would ‘users’ really want to modify the layout to this extent during a live show?
- What is the point of the situation where ‘ON AIR’ and ‘PFL’ are both de-selected? If one has to be selected then could the button be an ‘ON AIR/PFL’ toggle (in the same way as the option for the ASSIST/AUTO buttons on the playlist)
- What does the ‘Next’ button (top right) do?
- Should changing the status of the ‘On AIR’ button not be disabled if a cart is playing as it is easy to end your audio by mistake if you press this!
- Can you stop the cart playing on mouse click so that it can be dragged into the playlist?
- Can some buttons be disabled/hidden through a config setting (or skin.ini etc?)
Any comments on these would be appreciated.
Ron.
Oh, and a possible bug… When you start mAirList (with the cartwall displayed in the main screen) then playlist progress bar is displayed above the cartwall but if you hide and then show the cartwall using the toolbar button then the playlist progress bar is displayed below the cartwall. For consistency this should be displayed in the same position on both occasions.
