I have a frustrating problem with recording in mAirlist.
I have a schedule that Mairlist starts the (recording) encoder every Saturday at 9am and stops the (recording) encoder at 12u. This because we have a live broadcast that we record and use the recording on another day as repeat. The recording files are 60 minutes and have the name: Kwet-9, Kwet-10 en Kwet-11 according to the settings in the recorder: Kwet-%h.
So every week, we use Kwet-10 en Kwet-11 as rebroadcast. Kwet-9 is a visual method to see if the recording has started.
But today I see that Kwet-9 is renewed on saturday, but the other to files are older and are recorderding from the show of 25/02. So I have 1 new Kwet-9, and old versions of Kwet-10 and Kwet 11.
How is this possible? It’s not the first time this happens.
Hope this explanation is clear enough. My native language is dutch.
Hi Torben,
nd to
I use events to start and stop encoder. But I have found the problem for this weekend. I think I have changed the settings without really knowing because normally I record 60 min, but in the box was a 0, so it keeped recording. I have the whole show as an file for 3 hours.
Didn’t think you could do automated recording. I that using the air check recorder?
Personally in the stations I work with we use a 24/7 logger, which is required by licencing. I also built and setup and automated listen again service, but that is for the listeners to catch up on shows.
