Problem Mariadb on 7.3.7

I was setting up the new sql database in the newer version of maria db. Connected fine and set up the Table structures as usual. Opened Mairlist (7.3.7) and opened the database window. Set up a storage and imported about 10 songs (mp3). That went through on, but when I looked in the unsorted folder there was nothing and the following bug came up:

SCREENSHOT EDITED BY MOD: Removed Serial and mail address

I would recommend censoring the e-mail in the screenshot here or simply sending the bug report (send bug report) and writing a little info here. Otherwise everyone on the Internet will see your e-mail.

… and your serial number … Problem is, no one can take advantage of this very screenshot, as much more information is hidden behind the tabs. And, even if we could see it, the only real expert to decipher these error logs is, sadly, @Torben. So let’s focus on the main error message:

[FireDAC] [DatS]-32. Variable length column [json_objectagg(ia.name, ia.value)] overflow. Value length - [113], column maximum length - [1].].

Anyone?

Check the attributes of the song, there must be one which has a very huge value set.

Hi Torben

I have checked all the attributes in the properties tabs and no attribute gets close to the 113 . Can you perhaps tell me what the ia.name is? I will try to load some songs from my previous local database storage and see if the problem recurs

The problem is that it does not allow me to import any songs. When you click on unsorted the fault comes up and the new item button is not active

I will try to install a postgre SQL database. That worked when I did it at home, so fingers crossed

If you haven’t seen it yet:

It should be working when you exactly follow the HowTo.

BTW: I just updated v16 to the new v17 and the speed improvements are really noticable!

Postgre SQL v 17 working fine. I will stay on that. Thanks for your help. Fred
