Edit: Misunderstood. You meant the playlist.
Yes, okay. I would also be interested to see if that works. Unfortunately I don’t have mAirList to hand at the moment
The playout playlist GUI doest not have (direct/efficient) access to that information. unfortunately.
It’s a side-effect of mAirList’s “open” database design, which allows multiple concurrent database connections.
Thanks for the explanation, Torben!
Looking forward to your session in Bergen.
Thanks, looking forward to it too!
A lot of things would be possible/easier if we had exactly one database to which the playout is connected.
But we would also lose a lot of flexibility.
Maybe a really stupid solution… but maybe this is something for you. If I understood correctly what you need.
For me it looks like this.
Because I ran into the same problem, I solved it by placing a dummy in the properties folder in the opener section. (for every virtual folder a it’s own dummy)
@Torben It would be helpful if we have the option in the Dummy>Playback>Options> Do not load in playout
Then we would see it in the database playlist, but not during playing in the playout.
Is that an option for you?
