Playlist 0 ran empty - in AUTO-mode

Hi,

I have created Playlist for one hour. Music is starting - everythink is working fine.

Problem:
When I go from ASSIST to AUTO current song is fading out, next starts, fades out - … - all elements are marked as “played” - “Playlist 0 ran empty” appears - Windows tells “Mairlist is not responding”…

Without loading a playlist AUTO-mode is working fine.

Can anybody help?

Looks like there are fixed times set on the bottommost items?

No it is not shown before “program hangs”

I have attached to screenshots.

Hope they help

When you switch to auto, and the playlist skips dozens of songs, it is usually jumping to some fixed time item further down the playlist, thinking “oops, I should have played that already!”. So this usually happens when the scheduled time of that playlist does not correspond to the actual time, e.g. playing the 2:00 playlist at 3:15.

I assume “Stundenbeginn” is the top of the hour marker of the next hour playlist? How is the next hour loaded anyway? Is there an “actions on start” event attached to any of the items that does this? Most people just used a timed event…

Maybe you can post an XML dump of the playlist here. Mark all items with Ctrl+A, then press Ctrl+C to copy to clipboard, and paste here (preferably in a “code” block so the indentation stays intact).

You are right. This seems to be the problem.

Playlist loaded at 15:20 (in this case - manually)

Playing two tracks in ASSIST

Start AUTO (15:30)

Error happens:

If I delete this line from Playlist (is already played!) the error does not happen.

Stundenbeginn Hard 15:00:00

Question is, how does that 15:00 top of the hour item get there, at the end of your 15:00:00 playlist?

You don’t have “repeat mode” turned on, have you?

I have checked this … repeat-mode is not turned on.

Then why is there the 15:00 “Stundenbeginn” item at the end of the 15:00 playlist? How does it get there, and at which point in time does it appear?
