Playing Stream from Intergrated Streaming Server

I’m attempting to use the Integrated Streaming Server to stream audio to another Mairlist at MP3 320kbps.

First of all in VLC listening to the stream, I don’t hear any audio. Does Mairlist just send a output of the main mix to the encoder?

When I go to my second Mairlist and try stream it as eg. 192.168.1.60:8050 and its a Stream (Infinite) file I get “Can’t open file (bass error 2)”

I’ve tried downloading the Lame Add on. Anything else I could try?

Cheers,
Ethan

The integrated streaming encoder is just like any other encoder connection (Shoutcast or Icecast), only that mAirList creates its own server rather than sending the signal to an existing Shoucast/Icecast server.

You must set the playback device of all players to “Encoder” so that their signal is routed into the encoder “main mix”. (There is no other main mix in mAirList apart from the Encoder.)

Check if the levelmeter in the Encoder Status screen object displays any signal. Also make sure that the encoder is connected (also done through the status window).

Ahh i see… Which stream types does mairlist support playing? Eg MP3lame, Flac, AAC

As im getting errors trying to play MP3

Ogg Vorbis and MP3 should work out of the box (for MP3, the ACM codec installed in your Windows system is used).

For other formats, you have to download the appropriate add-on DLL from www.un4seen.com and copy it into C:\Program Files\mAirList\plugins\bass.
