Suddenly whenever I create an cue or Ramp point, next time loading the song it is gone.
Any idea?

Ferry,
How are you creating the cue points? In the playlist control bar, or elsewhere (mAirListTag, or mAirListDB)? Saving cue points to an item’s Proiperties in a Playlist saves the cue points to that Playlist item only, unless you also save the cue points permanently as well. Personally, I use the mAirListTag program but many people use the database to set and save cue points.
And, are you saving the cue points to a mAirList database, an MP3 tag, or an MMD file?

Aha, I just add them from within the mAirList main (song properties)
So all that info is gone when making a new playlist?
I go try to edit them in mAirlistTag now.
Just user error I guess then

If you edit them in the main mAirList window, you need to hit the “export” button bottom right of the Properties window. Then Save to MMD, Database or whatever.
Actually, I think it would be a good idea if I could save to both MMD and Database at the same time… Torben?

And then end up with redundant (and possibly conflicting) information? This would confuse too many people, I’m afraid. Rather use the database, and make frequent backups of the database file.
I think that streamer and I are both ‘old school,’ and both keep MMD files as (another) backup of our database of carefully-prepared cue points.

The current v4.3 beta includes a “re-read MMD” function in the Mass Edit dialog (also for DB and File Tag). A “mass export to MMD” function will soon follow.
Fair point. I just save to both the MMD and Database as habit, I have a habit of blowing up the database and starting again periodically, probably not something the normal user would do
Enjoying the beautiful Lincolnshire summer Sunday, before we head back Stateside. 8)
By the way, the batch MMD export function is built into v4.3.0 - can be found in the Mass Edit dialog.
