No duration and no wave form for newly imported mp3 files

I have had similar issues with an earlier beta of mairlist v8 which seems to be solved then. However, I still (or again?) have issues with duration of newly imported mp3 files since I’ve updated to build 6010.

My computer is Windows 11 (Dutch localization), intel i7 quad core, 16Gb memory, lots of SSD space. My database is a MySQL (Mariadb v11) on a Synology NAS on the internal LAN.

I encountered the same problem. Only at MP3 files without ID3 tags the length will be detected correctly.

Yes, after removing ID3 tags the duration is detected fine. This seems like a bug in v8 to me?

Since there aren’t many posts about version 8 on the forum, I’m bringing this up again.

Is there any more information about the problem of waveforms not being visible?
I installed build 6022, and this issue is still present.

Personally, I don’t use MP3 files, but FLAC.
