Need some help connecting Dbx compressor to Airlite

Hello guys,

Im currently using mAirList Home to broadcast some music to an internet radio station.Recently I switched from Rodecaster Pro II to Airlite MKII. Today Ive also purchased DBX 286s compressor and I need some help connecting it properly to Airlite.
Correct me if I`m worng, please:

  • Using Y cable(one 6.3mm stereo jack to two mono 6.3mm jacks)
  • Microphone goes into usual XLR slot on the Airlite mic channel
  • Stereo jack(Y cable) goes into INSERT slot on the Airlite mic channel
  • Mono jacks go to both OUTPUT and INSERT slots on DBX compressor
  • MIC XLR slot on DBX is not used

Im curious if this is the right way to connect this type of compressor to Airlite or I have to do it in another way.Im gonna attach some pictures here to be more specific!

Thanks,
Ovidiu

Well, this is quite off-topic to mAirList references, isn’t it?
