Multichannel encoder

Hello,

I would like to use the mAirList encoder to broadcast 2 different sound card input to 2 different Icecast servers.

The radio broadcasts the same signal on the Internet and the FM, but with different sound processing.

mAirList output -> hardware preprocessing -> input sound card # 1 to be encoded for the FM transmitter
mAirList output -> hardware preprocessing -> final processing -> input sound card # 2 to be encoded for streaming

I managed to encode a single stream, I can not select a second input on the encoder.

How can I do this without having to go through an external encoder for the 2nd stream?
Is it possible to broadcast with RTP?

I use the 6.2.1 Professional Studio version.

Hi Alice,

this looks to me like a typical case of Multi Instance Playout, which requires either a second mAirList licence or a dedicated multi-instance playout licence, which comes as an option for Professional licences.
