Missing song meta tags

Did you put it in the BASS folder or just in the plugins-folder? Maybe you misunderstood the post?

In the “bass” folder is a readme-file stating:

In order to install a BASS.DLL plugin, place the .DLL file in this folder.

So I will edit @Liam 's post to make it more clear where to put that dll in… :wink:

yepp, I feel my self a bit stpd, but I will try that, you was right just droped in Plug-in folder not in BASS

22 years old method (Uninstall, reinstall) and thanks for @Liam guidance bassalac.dll (x32) solved the problem as on same way as they are posted above!

Hi again,
I have faced same again, just meta tag missing on mp3 files. I have downloaded bass.dll and moved into the bass folder, but this message I got.

Why would you download the bass.dll? This is the MAIN file for the bass functionality.

There are several dll for different containers, but it’s not necessary to download the main bass.dll and change it…

why?…because I have faced same thing as before, just on mp3 files meta tags are missing. no covers, no artist, song titles. I think that, based on the previous advice, if I download the base bass.dll the issue will gone, but won’t.

Tondose, bassalac.dll have been installed already, all my m4a meta tags have reading correctly, except mp3 files are not read.

yepp, thats there :slight_smile: I just checked in plugins folder, but that wasn’t there, so I just thought that, that cause the issue on mp3 meta tags.
