Minimum Runtime of Playing Element

Hi Torben, im a New Happy User of mAirlist…im testing last Beta of v6…i would ask u if in a future you could add a feature to configure minimum runtime value before a element is cosidered “palyed”…
Normally, an element is considered as “sent/Played”, if it has been played for a millisecond only. Would be nice if You can change this, by specifying a minimum runtime, so that Elements, which have been played for a time (shorter than the minimum runtime) are considered as not being sent/Played.
After the stop, state will be reset to its original value.

would be nice in case of use in Live Assist Mode (Manual) and the operator start accidentally an element in a playlist using Players “Play” Button"…i this manner it can be eventually stopped and the element will stay avaible in playlist as playable element.

Hope i’ve explained clearly what i mean.
in case not sorry, i will try to explain better.

Regards.

Usually this is achieved by using PAUSE instead of STOP, and the triggering RESET (or turn PFL on and off again - this will also reset the player).

If you use fader start from a console of any kind, the following setup is recommended (e.g. for player 1):

  • Use PLAYER 1-1 START for “fader on”.
  • Use PLAYER 1-1 PAUSE/STOP for “fader off”.
  • Turn on the “Auto release PAUSE when other player is playing or started” for all players.

PAUSE/STOP will do the following:

  • If this is the only active player, do PAUSE.
  • Otherwise, do STOP.

So when you stop it accidentally, it will only pause and can be continued or reset.

The “Auto release” option will stop (and close) the paused player as soon as the other player is started. This is for the case that the player was deliberately stopped (paused!) before the EOF.

Cool Torben thanks for Reply and Help!
Regards.
