Hi,
I don’t know if it is a bug or if i miss something but i’m triying to set multiple mp3 files with a jingle item type.
I load then in the playlist, click on Mass Edit, change the item type to Jingle, click apply and Ok
When I click on property of a file, the item type is changed. Ok
I close mairlist, I load it and item is not saved.
Where is my error ?
All changes you make in the Mass Edit editor (and also the Properties dialog) are only temporary for the current playlist. mAirList does not “automagically” store any metadata of any files unless explicitly requested by the user. The metadata can be stored in either a file tag, an MMD file, or a mAirListDB database.
Usually, you would just hit the “Save to Tag” (or MMD, or database) button the Properties dialog to make the change permanent. The Mass Editor doesn’t have these buttons - good point, actually, I will consider to add them.
