Mairlist not re-reading cover art in flac files

Hi everyone,

Since I added new cover art to my flac files, I would like to re-import them in mairlist.

However, that doesn’t seem to work. The pictogram field in properties stays empty.

When I import the file from scratch in a new TEST database everything works as intended and the cover shows in properties, in the pictogram field.

Is there a way to fix this?

Addition, clarification.

After the “re-import tags”, the cover is visible in the log, but not in the songcard icon window.

Hi @TVguy ,

it may have something to do with this? As it works with a clean database for you but not for a re-import…

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I saw this thread to. But here it seems to go the other way around: visible as icon in the songcard, not in the log.

Don’t know if this is correct, but I suppose that the cover in the songcard, as a pictogram, has nothing to do with showing the cover in the log. As the log is loaded in the editor it scans the audiofile for cover art. If it’s there it is shown in the log. It is then registered in the AlbumArt.db. Correct me if i’m wrong.

Why is it importing all the attributes + cover art in a new TESTdatabase?

In the existing database it reads and import all (new) attributes, except for the cover art, as a picto in the songcard that is. Off course, I can just point to a external picto in the songcard and it would be displayed as such, but then I would have to make a separate directory with all picto’s in it. Double up, when it is already in the songfile.
