I’m brand new to Mairlist (inherited it) and seems there’s an issue where it’s logging files and adding them to the correct location. But seems like it’s only a few KB worth, but previously, a full day was 988mb.
Only change I made was to increase retention, and adjusted smtp details. Any ideas on how I might rectify? Have tried to just stop and start the service again. No luck.
Version is 1.4 so fairly ancient.
Well, yes, v1.4 is somewhat outdated. Might be that noone will be able to help because it is hard to remember.

As per me, I think the problem might be due to the software’s age. Increasing retention may result in some surprising behavior particularly if the system is running low on resources.
You could try restoring the retention settings to see if it addresses the problem. Also, ensure that the storage location has sufficient capacity and that nothing else has changed in the system settings.
