Livewire / Axia Remote

Hi,

I’m looking at the Axia mixing consoles and remembered that mAirList has an interface for Livewire? I’m familiar with setting up remote fader start from a desk to mAirList, but is it possible to send a command from mAirList to the desk? For example, to switch a channel on or off?

Has anyone set up mAirList with an Axia desk, or tried the IP audio driver?

Thanks,

Hi !

I have tested AXIA ip audio driver with mAirlist version 2.2. and Windows 7.
The drivers are working fine without any problems.

I don´t tested any remote funktions.

Best regards !

Robert (from Germany)

The protocol is unidirectional at the moment; you can control mAirList from the desk, but you cannot send anything back to it.

Thanks - that’s great to know. Our current sound-card doesn’t apparently work with newer versions of Windows - so if we upgrade it would be useful to go to IP.

Thanks - that’s useful to know that.

Our current desk has ten channels and the IQ desks have eight (although you can add another six or eight). If we could control one of the channels from the PC it would mean a second control surface wouldn’t be required right away.
