Has anyone managed to get the SAS from a Lawo console triggering a player start from the ‘Start’ button and not Fader, it would be really useful to have a two way ‘Status’ from Mairlist for the start buttons for each channel, like the DHD console integration.
Any help would be grately appreciated.
It’s not supported by the SAS/RAS protocol, unfortunately. You cannot set the channel START from the software.

In that case what would be useful is to still allow the ‘auto pfl’ integration to still work but allow the
‘Fader’ start option to be either disabled or enabled for each of the 4 player decks.
Why would you want to disable the fader start anyway? I think I don’t understand what you are trying to achieve.

It would be nice to have the option to disable fader start, in my case I’m using a touch screen to trigger each player for onair playback - fader rides on a track which has a ‘hard intro’ sounds crappy, however to have the SAS auto PFL option is still very useful.
Just an update, if anyone is wanting to trigger from a button on the Lawo console using SAS, you can do it using the OAC GPI control within the console cfg - and pick up the GPI within mAirlist SAS config to trigger a command.
