I’m not sure this is a bug, so I’m reporting it here, rather than the bug report section.
When I open the local database from OUTSIDE the playout and open the synchronize dialog, the database remains maximized in the background as I import files to folders. So good, so far.
However, when I launch the database from the playout shortcut WITHIN the playout and open the Synchronize dialog, the Sychronize remains maximized but the database completely minimizes (exposing the playout). If I then minimize the playout, the database will stay maximized when I import.
Does this make sense? A bug perhaps?
I’m using the latest snapshot before the 3.1.2 release.
It’s indeed a Delphi bug. Actually, the database window is not hiding, but the playout window is pushing itself in between the database window and the newly created dialog.
There is a workaround, which I applied, and it works pretty well now for most dialogs. One exception is all open/save file dialogs, which will still bring the playout window to the front.
