Is it possible to import voicetracks recorded on something like Audacity and use them in the same way for editing as you do now with the VT’s recorded within mairlist? i.e it would it convert the VT and the tracks on either side into a proper mairlist voicetrack file…
A voice track is just like any other audio file. So you can just import a voice track recorded in another application into the playlist, and use the Mix Editor in order to adjust the volume envelopes and cue points.
If you want, you can also set the item type to “Voice” so you get the correct icon etc.
