I need some suggestions on a hour layout!

I want do something like this at 06.00 Play music -> at 06.20 Play a specific file -> after this file ends play music -> at 06.50 play the same file as 06.20. I want to do this via Hour template but how exact should i do this?

When you say “play specific file”, does that mean you are using “item with specific ID”?

Yess its a file that is being replaced every week.

One spec for monday->friday so every week they are being replaced with an updated verison. How can i manage this easy with music blocks between those time points. Doing this within event will restart the database music for that specific hour. Thats why i want to do it within hour template!

Depends on the software version. Is this a mAirList 4 or mAirList 5 question?

In v4, I would just use an event and the “insert and play file” action (or just “insert file”, if you want the current song to finish). Why should that restart the entire hour?

In mAirList 5, it can also be done on template level, with fill items etc.

I will create an exemple ->

  1. At 06.00 Music starts with hour template.
  2. At 06.20 A specific file is started via Event.
  3. At 06.30 After this file ends Music from hour template is started (Same tracks that played 30 minutes before)
  4. At 06.50 A specific file is started via Event (Same file as 06.20).

Same events from 06-09 (Like it should be)
Problem are when file ends at (06.30) and database playlist is called the same “playlist” that started this hour play same songs. Right this is just obvious because thats how it work “iknow”.

The only solution will be to use mairlist 5 iguess?
