it can’t work this way, how should the Volume command know to what Volume you want to set it? There is no Volume Value.
This command is ment to be used by MIDI Controllers on faders.
It would be possible to do a script that drops the volume to a fixed level, over a fixed time but I don’t think it will sound nice.
Maybe it’s easier for your workflow, to do the actual fade, after you have recorded the Voice Track, in the Mix-Editor?
There you can easily draw the fade ramps by mouse.
