We are currently in the process of moving from our old playout system to mAirList 8. To make the transition easier for our DJs, we’ve created a custom skin.
In our previous playout system, we were able to change the font size on a per-DJ basis fairly easily. This is particularly useful for one of our team members who has difficulty reading smaller text.
For mAirList, I’ve now created two versions of our skin: a “Normal” version and a “Large” version. The Large version primarily increases the font sizes in the playlists and players.
Both skins work perfectly when loaded through the Skin Editor. If I replace skin.ini and then open the Skin Editor, place a “spacebar” anywhere and press Save, the replaced skin is immediately applied as expected. The “spacebar” is only for mAirlist to register a “change” in the ini.
I’ve already created a script that copies either of the skins to the ini in the config file.
This part works correctly. The only missing step is getting mAirList to reload/reapply skin.ini at runtime, without manually opening the Skin Editor and pressing Save. Is there any command or scripting function, or other method that can trigger the same skin reload that happens when saving in the Skin Editor?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
