Hardware ID

I had a problem last night went to open mAirList to make a playlist for todays show I had a message pop up about the License not valid for my computer.

Opened up mAirlist this morning to get the information and send it to Torben but the programme opened up fine has anyone had this happen to them or is it just me.

I will tell you what i was doing just put tuneup 2013 on my PC and done the clean up of my PC with it restarted my PC and had the pop up when clicked on mAirlist.

My advise is to save the hwid.txt file as you activate the license - right-click the Hardware ID field at the bottom of the dialog, and select “Save” from the menu that appears.

If the ID changes unexpectly, you can repeat the steps and send me the two hwid.tt files, so I can compare them and find out which information caused the change.

Most of the time an unexpected change is related to Windows updates for issues with the identification of the hard disk serial numbers. I have workarounds ready for most cases.

Ok thanks for that I have saved the hwid file should it happen again.

I would like to join this problem:

I upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2 today and all of a sudden, my ID apparently changed from:

57ED-68D3-F140-3166-44A4-6277-CB07-4015-675F

to

D051-78F6-A37E-2661-9DB2-BA9F-8A4A-A828-10E2

The only two things I changed was plugging in two USB devices (one hard disk and one stick).

Regards

Zero

The ID is an encrypted hash code, so just from those numbers, I cannot tell what caused the change.

USB devices should usually be filtered out when calculating the ID, but you never know…

I propose you create the hwid.txt file (see above) and send it to info@mairlist.com, along with your license serial number.

sent you a mail
