Folder colour

Hello

Is it possible to attach a color to a folder so all songs in that folder have it also?
This because folders like HITS have items that will not stay in this folder. So you constantly have to change it manually.

As far as I know: Not automatically, but you can change the colour of all elements in a folder by mass-tagging.
Simply choose all elements in the folder > right click “mass tagging” > change colour > OK.

I figured that out, and for folders that are not changing so mutch it is not an issue, but folders like hits and tips are weekly changing so it would be handy if you can do it on folder level so the inside items are automatically attached to this color.

  1. One element can be available in multple folders (by copying it), so which is the right one to determine the colour?

  2. There is no identifier in the element itself where an element comes from / in which folders it is listed.
    The playlist does not “know” where the element is listed in the database - only the real, physical location on the hdd is related.

  3. A reverse search “playlist item to database folder(s)” needs a lot of resources and would slow down the system.
