Event (from one eventlist to another eventlist)

Hello,
I got 2 event that i wanna connect with eachother.
Event1.mle
Event2.mle

Got a question how can i make a event inside “Event1.mle” that does this “each sunday 23.59.30” -> load Event2.mle! Inside “Event2.mle” i want to have “each sunday 23.59.50” -> load Event1.mle!

At the same way i want to load a new week templat say “weekevent1” for “Event1.mle” and “weekevent2” for "Event2.mle!

By doing this i can sort out what gonna be played on wich week for say (odd and even weeks) :wink:

You can load an .mle file into the event list via a simple script:

begin
  CurrentPlaylist.GetEventList.LoadFromFile('C:\somewhere\Event1.mle');
end.

Save this as “LoadEvent1.mls” or so, and use the “Run script” action to execute it.

Works like Clockwork, but in the future it would be nice with that function already inside event so you dont need an script! But for now this saved alot of fiddle around :smiley:

Or another “odd weeks only”, “even weeks only” etc. setting in the event properties?

However I see that most people have only a single event now, the one that loads the next playlist from the DB at the top of each hour. So those settings would make more sense in the DB hour template assignment (ability to specify separate hour templates for odd week numbers, even week numbers, first monday of the month etc.).
