Error on startup

Hi,

Since some time, I get this meaningless error notification when I startup mAirList. I can suspress it by clicking OK and the application continues to run just fine. However it is annoying to have to do this every single time…

I tried identifying the cause of this message but as there is not very much information in it I have absolutely no idea where to look.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be, or at least where I should start looking?

Hi!
Are you running any scripts on startup?

No, no scripts. Only a command, but the issue still occurs when I remove that command.

Perhaps an USB controller?

What happened with your setup at that point in time?

I think this is Microsoft’s XML processor’s way to tell us that it is trying to load an XML file that is not actually XML. Or corrupt in a way.

So it is caused by something that is reading or processing XML. Most of mAirList’s internal file formats are based on XML…

I would try to move away all files (.ini etc.) from the config folder, and re-add them one by one, and see which one is causing it.
