hello

It can be a router problem, some routers have a CPU 0-100% range see if that is on 100%. Because that can trigger a buffer for your listners.

We had that problem in one of our studios.

It is in a datacetre it’s on a windows2012 server

I see,

On our main server we have never had that kind of problem. So thats verry strange to me maybe torben have a solution to this.

Edit::
Its worth a test try to disable the port settings for your encoder inte firewall. Make a new rule for those ports it can be a verry odd thing when the firewall “freeze”. That however have we encounter without any notice from windows.

The firewall is been turned off so that could not be the issue .

Ohh, then i dont know what can cause this.

I hope Torben has a solution for this . Otherwise it will be another encoder for the stream…

Try setting the Windows power plan High Performance (disable all power saving functions).

I have heard of several cases where the Windows realtime clock was drifting when the power plan was set to “balanced” or “power saver”. You could see that the players in mAirList were running too slow, losing 2 seconds in one minute or so. With a streaming buffer of 5 seconds, the listeners’ players would suffer a buffer underrun after 2.5 minutes then.

This is particularly an issue with virtual servers, but I have also seen physical servers doing this.

Thanks Torben for your quick response . I will try it tonight or tommorow .Let you know
