almost every week I have a problem that the encoder stops and reconnect instantly.
Is there a buffer which you can enlarge ?
Or windows settings?
Buy more memory for the pc?
There is also a stereo tool VST present in the encoder .

There is kabel internet with upload 14mb
There could still be packet loss or routing issues somewhere between your computer and the ISP of the streaming server, right?
And how do I check that? The only way to check my Internet (I know) is trough speedtest.
The more important question is, can you do anything about it, if the reason is far away along the “packet route” from your computer to the server?

But if it happens only very rarely, you will be having a hard time catching the error.
What’s the error message anyway?
One of the best things I did years ago was to feed the encoder to a local server (same machine etc) and have the remote server pull from it.
If any push workflow has any congestion, it could cause this issue. Many reasons etc.
Yesterday I thought of something, when I am online some things in mairlist go slower.
Especially the search function.
If the encoder is broadcasting and I do a search for a band let’s say Queen it takes about 2 a 3 min everything freezes and then the search screen pops up én the freeze is gone.
That’s the reason I don’t sears during broadcast, but I thought it might be the course of the problem.
It’s the full bandname that takes solong and ofline it’s seconds.
CPU usage perhaps? Using any plugins (Stereo Tool etc.)?
Yes there is a vst stereotool.
This year I upgraded my pc for the use of stereotool, but still not enough?
Is it a good idea to use a second pc only for stereotool, mixer out second pc in trough a stand alone stereotool pc out and mairlist pc in and then feed it to the encoder?
Well, you could just try to disable Stereo Tool temporarily, and check if the issues go away (slow database access, network dropouts, etc.).

Butt stil a search in the database freezes the schreen for a coppel of seconds
The pc is a quad core intel 6600 with 4 gb memorie.
If I buy a new intel I5 pc will it run smootly then?
