It would be nice if there was some kind of duplicate search feature in the mAirlist DB program.
When you run the search it looks both identical and similar (same title different artist or Similar title same artist)
You would then be able to review the matches and delete the duplicates. Also be able to omit matches from future searches if you feel that they are not a duplicate and it has made an error. This would not mean that the songs won’t come up again just that the same match won’t be brought to review again. You would also be able to review the omitted matches if you were to accidentally set them to be omitted. It would be good if it told you what differed between the two versions i.e. different file formats, different storage locations, different bitrates etc.
Just something to think about as I know it is a headache at our station which, because it is a student station, has multiple people each year uploading files to it and each having their own storage solution so some files are uploaded twice etc. Chances are it wouldn’t need to be run all the time but would be a useful little feature to have anyway.
Try the external prog EF Duplicate MP3 Finder. It is very useful and its filters can be set to all your wishes come true.
It costs nearly 12 EUR but this one-time amount is a good investment for the future.
Hi, would you be so kind to enter your license number in the profile so we can verify you as a paying customer? It’s not viewable for other users, only for staff.
Hi, I have had demo version, so don’t have license number yet, stil I’m not decide about which playout would be better to me. Anyway, is this true, you ask me to share my license number on a public community? Sorry it is very strange a bit to me!
