Hi
I’m playing around the mix editor and I want to lower the track to allow for a voice over.
How would I achieve this in the mix editor?
Thanks
Mark

You use what we can “rubber bands”.
Click on the top of the track you want to adjust. It should place a small white square. Click near it again, then click on that new white square and drag the “rubber band”/line down. You should see a small number appear (the dB reduction). Keep adjusting as needed. It takes a little practise but you will get quick at it. I’m not near my setup so I can’t show screenshots.
Thanks
I’ll give it a try
When you move the mouse near the upper or lower end of the waveform, the cursor will turn into an up/down-arrow. Hold the mouse button and pull the “rubber band” inwards to create a volume envelope.
Existing envelope points can be adjusted with the mouse as described above.
To delete an envelope point, drag it outside the waveform.
Hi
I have a query:
"Click on the top of the track you want to adjust. It should place a small white square. Click near it again, then click on that new white square and drag the “rubber band”/line down. You should see a small number appear (the dB reduction). "
I don’t see the small number, any ideas, please?
