Device error on VT

I’ve been trying to setup VT’ing on version 4.2.
Am using delta 1010LT card and the settings for VT are:
mon 1 - ASIO 1+2
mon 2 - ASIO 3+4
Mic in - ASIO in 7+8
Mic Mon - off

When clicking on VT button I get the following error:
Error setting up monitoring device Bass:5:1 Bass_SetDevice: error 8 (device 5)

I’ve got the mic linked through 2 post-fade AUX outputs from mixer to inputs on soundcard. When trying to record VT I can hear the audio from the mic, but it’s not being recorded. The VU meters respond, but no soundwave in the recorder.
Any ideas?

PS. It works fine in version 4.1 latest build…

PS 2. Soundwave now showing after re-installing, but same error still coming up…

What is “Mic Mon” actually set to? You must explicitly set it to “No playback” to mute the monitor output. If you leave it unassigned, it will use the default playback device (you can verify that by looking at the grayed out text). I presume this interferes with the ASIO playback, this is why you see the error message.
