database playlist issue

Hi Torben

We have the following problem. I have generated a playlist , like an example 06-10 every hour the same format. Than from 10-14 and so on. The strangest thing happend this week that every hour starts an hour earlier than is scheduled in the mini scheduler… Did i do something wrong with the setup ?

So you have an event set up that load the playlist? Can you please post the event here? You can just copy it in the Event Scheduler using Strg+C, and then paste the XML code into the forum.

Also, when you open a Database Playlist pane in the browser section, does it show the correct playlist for the selected hour, or also a wrong one?

Did you create the playlists on the playout PC, or from your client PC over the WAN connection?

The playlist is been created on the playout computer in our data centre

This is going ok. According to the scheduler it is set up correctly . So thats the reason why i find it so strange that every hour is started an hour earlier …

Click the Events button in the toolbar to open the Event Scheduler.

Select the event which is responsible for loading the playlist.

Press Ctrl+C to copy it to the clipboard.

Create a new reply to the forum thread and press Ctrl+V to copy the event XML code into your post.

Thanks. The solution to your problem is acutally pretty clear. You have (acceidentally) checked the option “Load the next playlist for the next hour (instead of the current hour)”.

The words “next” and “current” refer to the current date and time (and not the playlist that was last loaded an hour ago). So when you run the event at xx:00:00, you need the current playlist.

Thanks for helping out…

I will check it at 1 pm if it goes ok…
