Database: forgotten password

I’m using a set up with a Play Out PC (mAirList Professional Studio) and a separate PC for editing (mAirList Professional Management). The MariaDB SQL database is on a Synology NAS with both mAirList applications connected to the same database. Works like a charm.

Due to a hardware failure, I had to replace my editing-PC. I re-activated the Management licence on the new hardware, all OK. I cannot connect Professional Management to the database with the reason that I no longer know the password for access to the database

Is it in any way possible to “copy” the password from my play-out pc to my editing PC? Or another solution?

mAirList 6.x relies on SQL users, so you must use the MariaDB tools to reset the password of the mairlist user.

As a quick fix, copy the database.ini file from the working computer to the new one.

Solved. Installed “libmysql.dll” 32-bit file, all working now. Thanks @Torben and @henk
