Database duplicate songs

Is there in MairList a possibility to scan for duplicates in the database?

If not, is this an idea to implement?

No, there is actually no possibility.

As far as I can remember, there has been a discussion in the past and the result was not positive.
Sure, I can write it on a list and discuss with Torben, but I’m a bit sceptical.

Two workarounds:

  1. Export your database in *.csv format to Ecel or Libre Office Calc. Use the grouping function (I know it in german as “Teilergebnisse”, :uk: Partial results :netherlands: Gedeeltelijke resultaten).
    Here you will find the corresponding multiple results at a glance.

  2. You will find duplicate finder software in the net, possibly it will cost a few Euros.
