I’m testing the software home version, and I need to create the local database to create the event to schedule my different programs. I tried everything and cannot create a local database. Can I schedule events with this version? Am I missing something? Please help me with a detailed step-by-step, since I’m barely testing the software.
What do you mean by “I cannot create”?

You need the configuration tool,
Go to windows start menu > Mairlist 5.3 > configuration
I did that and that is the screen I get on the attached image. Should I uninstall and reinstall?

You need to choose the local mode
I do not have a menu or choice to get to the local section. When I m in configuration, databases, I click on the add and the only choice is for Internet only. I don’t understand what and I doing wrong. Please help me!

This might be totally irrelevant, but the image shows Home Player and not Home Studio.
Oh, good point, I actually ignored the screenshot when asking for the license.
Home Player does not have mAirListDB. It does have the Internet Client database so you can access the playlist and library from a DBServer. But it does not have a database of its own.
So with this version I can’t schedule i. e. every hour to play an station I’d, or schedule to play a particular program or sequence, right? What is the software that you recommend?
You can still use the Event Scheduler, with Insert File and all that - but not mAirListDB and the Mini Scheduler.

Where is the event scheduler? I couldn’t find it on the insert tab. Please send me a guide on how to set up an event. Thanks.
Click the Events button on the main toolbar, or the yellow button above the playlist. Will bring up the Event Scheduler. Add a new event, set times as needed, and add some actions. Pretty self-explaining.
The thing is that I don’t have an event tab, that is why I was trying to see if I needed to set up a database. Could it be that my version of the software is incomplete?
check the attachment and see that i don’t have an Events tab, is this normal? do i have to enable the events somewhere else? i dont see any setting for that in the configuration app. please guide me. thanks
Sorry, my bad. No Event Scheduler in Home Player either.
Home Player (discontinued a long time ago) was meant as a very inexpensive version for occasional live broadcast. Not for 24/7 automation.
You should really crossgrade to Home Studio for that.
