Just found a very neat trick to control other mAirList (split machines) from the studio keyboard… Assign a shortcut key to any control you like (just so it appears in the mairlist.ini file) - Then, open the INI file in notepad and find the command you just entered…
Replace with the RPC command you wish to use, eg:
Action10=RPC http://computername:9300/BIN AUTOMATION 1 PLAY
Works a treat - and means you don’t have to wire-up extra buttons on your mixer… Just do it all via 1 keyboard… and there’s more, it’ll also support more than 1 command:
Action10=RPC http://computername:9300/BIN AUTOMATION 1 PLAY;RPC http://computername:9300/BIN AUTOMATION 2 PLAY etc
